Hey everyone! I am so sorry I have not posted for the past couple of days, but I have been extremely busy. I will be posting today about celebrities and recent news about them.

There have been some newer additions to some celebrity’s family. Not so long ago Carrie Underwood received a beautiful baby boy! Another celebrity who had a baby was Cristina Aguilera. She now has a adorable little girl.

Some people who are expecting babies in 2015 are Shakira and Gerard Pique, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Bile, Kiera Knightley and James Righton, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross, and the royal duchess Kate and Prince William.

The Oscars

Hi everyone, today I will be talking to you about the 2015 Oscars!

This year the Oscars are celebrating it’s 87th anniversary! There will be some amazing live performances, nominees and after parties.

Some of the live performances include Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Anna Kendrick, Tegan and Sara, Jack Black, Rita Ora, John Legend and Adam Levine.

Some of the Nominees include (Actress- supporting role) Emma Stone, Meryl Streep and ( Animated feature film) Big Hero 6, How To Train Your Dragon 2, The Box trolls.

Some of the women on the red carpet fashion list incudes Meryl Streep, Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Kristen Bell, Jennifer Laurence, Amy Adams and Julia Roberts.

Valentine’s Day Contest Results

Hello and welcome back! As you may know, last week I started a contest for valentine’s day, which was to write about what you think that best way to express love is. People commented on the blog, my Pinterest page and I even received some emails from friends (Don’t worry, no biased judgement). After reviewing all of the responses, I settled on one winner. Concerts in 2015!

Hey everyone! Today I will be talking to you about all of the upcoming concerts of 2015!

In February, we have The Tragically Hip on the19th.

In March, we have Arianna Grande on the 8th and Maroon 5, Magic! and Rozzi Crane on the 16th.

In April, we have Neil Diamond  on the 2nd and One Republic on the 24th.

In May, we have Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea on the 3rd.

In June, we have Ed Sheeran on the 6th.

In July, we have Imagine Dragons on the 4th.

In August, we have One Direction on the 20th and 5 Seconds of Summer on the 25th.

In October, we have Taylor Swift on the 2nd and 3rd.

DIY Easy Valentine’s Day Brunch for Under $60

Hello everybody! What is one great way to spend valentine’s day with family? Have a meal together! Brunch is one of the best ways to do this, you are under no time commitment early in the morning or late at night. It can be eaten late morning or early afternoon, it doesn’t matter! But, sometimes brunch can get a little bit expensive. With all of the ingredients that are needed and stuff to set the table nicely, especially if you have a theme to the brunch, such as valentine’s day. Never mind the work of cooking, cleaning and entertaining (If you want to have people over). That is why today, I am going to tell you how to have an easy DIY Valentine’s day brunch for under $50! I will include recipes, prices and décor, Enjoy!

You will need:
FOR FRENCH TOAST:

NEEDS TO BE PREPPED THE NIGHT BEFORE

MAKES 12

  1. Butter a 9 by 13 baking dish and lay bread evenly in the dish, making sure that none of the pieces are overlapping. In a large bowl, mix together 8 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 1/2 cups cream, 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon. Pour over bread and refrigerate over night.
  2. The next morning, preheat the oven to 350F. In a small sauce pan, mix 3/4 cups of butter, 1 1/3 cups of brown sugar and 3 tablespoons corn syrup. Mix until bubbling. Pour over bread.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes.

MAKES 3 SERVINGS

  1. Heat 2 1/2 cups milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming, about 5 minutes. Stir in 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup, 1/2 tablespoon honey, and 1/2 tablespoon vanilla.
  2. Bring this mixture to a boil. Stir in 3 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder. When fully mixed, take off heat and add 1/2 cup milk.
  3. Place back on heat and simmer until heated through.
  4. Ladle into cups and serve. (Add marshmallows, whipped cream, power of any sort or anything else you want to the top.)

  1. Wrap silverware in the napkins. Simply turn the napkin so it looks like a diamond. Place the silverware in the center and fold the bottom tip up and the two outside edges in. Add a napkin holder for effect.
  2. When laying down the table cloth, make sure that all of the sides drape evenly over the sides. Crease the cloth at the edges of the table to give it a fancy look.
  3. Keep the center pieces simple, some flowers and a few candles should do the trick.

Hey everyone, Today I am going to be talking to you about the Grammy’s now that I can post all things pop culture.

This year the Grammy’s are celebrating their 57th year! It will be a great event with live performances from John Legend, Beyoncé, Arianna Grande, Sia, Rhianna and  Sam Smith. Everyone will be there.

Some of the rap nominees are Iggy Azalea with Fancy, Nikki Manaj for Anaconda, Eminem and Rhianna with The Monster and Kendrick Lamar with I.

Some of the pop nominees are John Legend with All Of Me, Taylor Swift with Shake It Off, Sia with Chandelier, Sam Smith with Stay With Me and Pharrell  Williams with Happy.

Some of the country nominees are Carrie Underwood with Something In The Water, Keith Urban with Cop Car, Keith Urban and Eric Church with Raise ‘Em Up and Miranda Lambert with Automatic.

VALENTINE’S DAY CONTEST!

Hello everybody! I would like to start by apologising for missing my post yesterday, I have been very busy and a little under the weather (I know, great combination), But I had some free time so I decided to post today. I’ve been wanting to try out a contest for a while, just to see how it goes, but I’ve been waiting for the right time. So, today I thought that I should do a contest for none other than VALENTINE’S DAY! It’s only two weeks away you know! So, since this is sort of my first trial and error competition, here is how it is going to work:

In the comment section below, on my Pinterest page or other social media that I will notify you about as the contest develops (We are working on Publicize, just hold on tight!), write about the most creative way that your special someone has told you that they love you. You can use pictures (Post them on your Pinterest page and follow me so I can see it, or post it on Instagram at #yourdailydoseoffabcontest, I’ll make sure to check them out!) or write your story. On February 14th, I’ll read through all of the posts and judge the most creative. The winner will get a shout out on this site, where they can include any website or social media account that you want people to know about and you can choose the topic of one of our posts for the day (Sticking with our genre of post.) Have fun!

– Dries TO THE TOUCH pretty fast, but is not dry all the way through
– Lots of different colours
– Cheap
– Smooth application

CONS
– Dried out after only a few months
– So opaque it will be messy for less experienced nail polish users

– is very shiny
– Brush good for quick application

REVLON TOP SPEED!

Revlon Top Speed is a very god line of nail polish and I think is better than Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure. It’s cheaper, more opaque, lasts longer… To me it is a clear winner
